Solidworks 2016 desktop transparency issue

Lately, when I open Solidworks, the program becomes transparent and all is see is my desktop background and the solidworks top and bottom toolbar. I have seen this issue before on other forums and it seems to be a common issue with an NVIDIA graphics card. I have an Intel 5300 graphics card and I have not seen any discussion on this topic related to my graphics card.  I've had this issue before, let it go and opened Solidworks a few days later and it was gone but this is happening more frequently and I'd like to find a permanent fix to this issue. I've check to see if there are any compatibility issues with my graphics card at Graphics Card Drivers | Hardware & System Requirements | SOLIDWORKS  but I don't see my graphics card listed. Attached is an image of the issue I'm dealing with. Has anyone found a solution to this?Solidworks_desktop_background_issue.PNG
