I wish to whether it is possible to hide this line without hiding the cosmetic thread. Part file is attached.
you can tuck it on the other side. Certainly looks much better...
Please tell me how did you do it?
I attached the .SLDPRT file.
Basically, choose the other end of the threaded section to start your thread. SolidWorks only puts the circle at the start of a thread, nothing at the end.
Your method demands pre-planning which lacks for a novice.
Ahhhhhh, not really. I took you part and changed it in about 30 seconds.
I did have a certain amount of experience and knowledge of the feature (and software in general) to understand how it works and was able to think outside of the box to apply a "work-around" that accomplished the question you asked.
There are many times I will need to go back to my model or drawing to change a technique that gives me the end result required to successfully, completely and clearly transmit my design intent to manufacturing.
Life is attitude.
Ascribe yourself as an expert, not a novice.
But then the visual of the cosmetic thread is gone...
You might want this. I know it takes more memory.
This seems real thread. My problem is while retaining cosmetic thread how to get rid of line.
