Depending on what geometry I pick, I can get all sorts of numbers on dimensions that should really be the same in my 2d drawing.

Some of the errors I can find where the stupid number comes from. Basically although its a 2d view, soldiworks is not projecting the dimensions to 2d.

I never had this in 2015 or previous. I just updated to 2016. I suspect an "enhancement" in placing centre lines, and/or allowing supposed 3D dimensions in isometric and trimetric type views has leaked into the basic and essential engineering functionality of 2D drawings and ruined it.

Result? We can no longer trust any dimensions to be depicted correctly. Its time to go back to manually checking all our dimensions like we did with pencil and drawing boards!!!!!!
