how specific are you going to want it? There are dozens of tutorials on Youtube form building the chassis all the way untill suspension setups.
Edit: I'm talking common cars. They won't tell you the indept details of a real Formula car i guess hahaha
There are plenty of models to be found, here's just one example McLaren MP4-25 F1 (2010) 3D Model Download - 3D CAD Browser but haven't found a decent realistic in-depth tutorial.

You'll have more chance of winning the lottery I should think Steve! They'd have more secrets than a politician!
I am an F1 fanatic Steve but have never been. Now that we are travelling we are hoping to see the race at Albert Park (Melbourne) in the new year, fingers crossed.

Amazing! Who do you support Steve Calvert?
I went to Indian GP. But they put it on hold after just 3 seasons.
Well that's impossible I know
But anyways, I just want to learn and then I can improvise on it maybe.
Can you model a BAJA or FSAE chassis Dave Bear?
Prateek,.. as all the above mention,... there are enough videos online which should give good info on taking the orthographic views you show into curve/surface development for the body/shape.
It takes time, patience and practice..
A while back, as a test, I imported a Sketchup file (samsung-nistovan-mercedes) via Rhino3D... and exported as a STEP.. it's not that clean but it's impressive for a facet model.
I doubt that you'll find a very detailed one. But if you do please let me know also.
Dave.
