This is a YouTube video. My thread is not uniform as like in the video. What is the reason?
If you open your options as below & set "Part/assembly tangent edge display" to "Removed" that line will not be visible.
I would suggest that something went wrong with your sweep path Maha.
Perhaps try going back up a few steps up the feature tree and trying again.
Maha,.. first,.. the video shows a profile which looks round/circle and your profile looks more rectagular?... so, what most likely is happening is your rectagular looking profile is twisting or.. it has a constraint which is leading/rotating it as it sweeps long the path.
So.. if you look at the video time of 4:50.. there is a "Options" menu.. click on that and select the "Minimum Twist" ... (image attached) does that fix it?
..if not.. then, we would need to see the file or your profile sketch constraints to understand why it's twisting/rotating along the path?
I have fixed this problem. I sketched the cutting circle on the top plane, this solved the problem, earlier it was on the plane created by me.
How to hide this line. When I tried all part was disappeared.
i think that if you click on the line and open the sketch of that circle, in the properties of the line select it as costruction line. You will not see it anymore!
It is not working for me. I have attached the file please try and let me know if it works.
That line cannot be deleted. It is where your solid body profile changed (sphere end) if you remember, before you cut your thread. It is a profile line just like any other. You can select 'Shaded View' which will remove all such lines and give you a representation like the 2nd picture from the top of this thread instead of 'Shaded With Edges' which you currently have selected.
Thank you very much for your help.
