What is the meaning of a Bottoming Tapped Hole?
This is just specification of the tap to be used or threads to be produced..
There are three common hands taps; Taper, Plug and Bottoming Tap.
All three taps are identical except for the bevel angle at the tip. Taper tap has largest bevel angel and Bottoming tap has lowest to almost no bevel angel. Bottoming tap would produce more threads compared to other two and is always used in the after taper and/or plug tap. This is used to have maximum usage of the hole for cutting threads.

Thanks for your help.
Why is it surrounded by dash lines? In order to separate it from Hole image?
The solid lines show the drilled hole, the dashed lines show the threaded part.
This is the representation of threads in technical world.
