I`m trying to get a mitered corner in a weldment with 2 beam of different size. In the real word this is not a problem, the angle simple will be a 45. But other then making a sketch and cutting each beam to the correct angle, is there a easy way to do it?
I notice the "miter trim plane point" feature, so figured that would solve it. But you can only select a point, not a line or plane, so it give this
Is there any other option to get a proper miter?

That 2D image doesn't appear to be 45.
The only way is to manually cut and it won't be a 45, unless the beams are the same size.

Kenneth, you are correct the miter in the 2D is not 45, sorry I guess I miss titled the post. But is the two beams are different size it would be impossible to get a 45 degree cut and have everything fit properly. What I am looking for is a miter, but not a 45. The 45 causes the situation in the first picture.
Attached is the way that I would do it. I made the profiles long enough that they would extend completely thru the other member and then created two sketches with an intersecting curve of the meeting faces. Then I created a plane between these two sketches and used the cut with the surface command using the plane on both structural members. I know it's not automatic but fairly easy to accomplish.
You can do this in a few ways.
One way is to create a sketch modeling the intersection line and cut extrude the miter
Another option is to create an axis at the flange face intersection then use the axis to define a plane. Use the cut with surface feature and the corresponding plane. Both options will update with design changes.
One more question? Why miter to begin with. This joint is easier to do in a square cut butt joint manner. No alignment issue, no weld prep required and cheaper to cut.

Elmar, II agree a square cut would be cheaper. This was actually requested by the client, the only advantages would be esthetics and not having to add another plate to cap the end.

If you are open to suggestions...Run the vertical beam thru and cap it of if your mount plate. You'll end up with less welding while being esthetical pleasing. Very easy weld with little prep. You also safe yourself the yellow vertical stiffener.

Personally, in this instance I would cut the parts. You know the exact height/depth of the angle cut so just sketch and cut. You won't get a good match up between each of the flanges but the faces will meet perfectly.
