I have a problem in my model. In SolidWorks how could I realize a spring with a maximum and minimum deformation?

I think it'd be much easier to do some spring calculations than try to figure it out from a SW 3D model (it can be done but it's more complicated)
ex. For compression spring you can calculate for solid length (min deformation) and max deformation based on the MTS (min. tensile strength) - all can be done with few calculations by hand or you can generate on an excel sheet

This is my model: a knee joint. I need to connect the bones with the ligaments, so I think that I could model the ligaments by springs. The problem is that I don't know how I could do it in SolidWorks! The spring in SolidWorks can warp but without stiffness, or I wrong?

With this kind of problem, your need FEA which is a standalone package from SW
I'm not interested about stress analysis, but only about kinematics analysis. Could I plan an elastic material with the FEA package?
