Is it possible to select a view of my choice and making it as a default isometric view?
Not without changing orientation the other standard view. You can however create a custom view. Look in SolidWorks help under Orientation Dialog Box for how to do this.
Is this what you want?
Yes this is what I want. Video is not showing how to do that.
I suggest use Move body to rotate the part
to create this view, move the model to the desired position, press the space bar and you will get the orientation dialog.
Press 'new view' icon second from top left. Give the view a name. The view will now be available to place on drawing.
Is it possible to make my view as isometric view?
That means if I pressed isometric view button my view should be displayed.
As Adel mentioned, you would need use the move/copy body feature to rotate the part accordingly.
If all features after the initial feature were based on the original feature only, you could change the sketch plane of the initial feature from right to front, or vice versa.
Actually you can. If you chose the round face and go to the view menu>modify.set current view as>front you will alter the orientation of the isometric.
Exactly as Bjorn described, just to add something. After you create a view and point on it in Orientation dialog box you will see an option to save it, after you save it you can import it in other parts.
This video is explaining exactly what I want.
