Have you tried to do a repair of the SW installation ? (go to uninstall programs, select the Solidworks program and then select repair).
If not, I would try that.
But first, run the Copy settings wizard and save all your settings so that all your customization will not be reset.
Also, do you have an older Copy settings Wizard file saved from earlier?
If so, you can try to load that and see if it fixes the problem before you do the repair.
It may be that you inadvertently changed a setting that is causing the failure and restoring the settings to an earlier working state may fix it.
I periodically save my settings for this purpose (saving each time in different directories so I can step back to any of the earlier states).
If the Repair doesn't work you can try the SolidWorks RX program (in your Windows start menu ->under Solidworks -> tools).
That may tell you the problem or give you a direction.
I went down that path already. Next I will try to repair/re-install all the c++ redistributable packages.
