If we have a front view of a sphere, there's no way of telling that we're looking at a curved surface. An illustrator would solve this problem by drawing a series of short concentric arcs onto the sphere. How can this be done in SolidWorks?
Placing an S in front of the diamter or radius symbol will depict a curve is spherical.
I f you have to show it, you could have planes cutting the sphere and create intersection curves and show them in the view.
Or, you could add a section view to the drawing.
