To see this while working you can turn on real view
I couldn’t see any relevant command in my drop down menu. I couldn’t see any relevant command in customize dialog box as well. Please show me how to get it?
No certified video card/drivers. Are you running on a Quadro/Fire Pro? Otherwise, you won't get Real View Graphics.

expand the display adapters, if you FirePro or Quadro GPU the drivers is not installed
real view will not be activated since your GPU is not a quadro or firepro
maybe realhack will do or registry edit will do but if you do not know how to use this, then it is better not to try it becuase you may screwed your machine

As this video cards( FirePro or Quadro GPU) are expensive I wish to know whether there is any external video cards of this kind available. So that if I change the computer I can retain this video card.
Maha, don't get to fixated on realview. It's nice for sure, but not necessary. I turn it on perhaps once a month, others may use it constantly. If you have a desktop computer, these graphics cards are swappable. So if you get a reasonably good one, and you upgrade your machine at a later date, you can re-use the graphics card.
You can also edit any material or any color in your models to increase the amount of reflection etc....
Edit the part color and select advanced
Firepro and Quadro GPU are available just search in ebay or amazon, you can both use your two GPU at thesame time use firepro or Quadro for Solidworks and use GTX for rendering.
Hi Maha,
you should simply be able to apply the chromium plate to your part. The level of shininess is also dependant on the scene, if the chrome has nothing to reflect (dull scene, poor lighting) it will still look dull.
