In the Summary Information dialog,
If you have multiple configurations, and add a property for "weight", which configuration's weight is being displayed in the Custom Tab?
okay, that all matches.
I thought that the @ tab in pdm showed the properties of the custom tab in the summary information, but the weight that is showing does not match any of the configuration weights.
That's a configuration specific property by default.
If they are different material or size you need to add the weight property to the config specific properties.
okay, so if there are multiple configurations, then the @tab shouldn't be used for weight?
where is the @tab getting the weight from?
The pictures you show above is showing the "Customs" Tab, only the initial part or default part is "Custom" all the other configurations that you add is showing in the "Configurations" Tab.
where does the @tab in epdm get the weight from? because it doesn't match any of the configuration weights.
What is the mass of your third (All Suppressed) configuration?
the mass of the "all suppressed" config is 0.
(I did not create this model, not sure what this config is for)
precisely to check stuff like this Kim.
Thanks Kimberly González, I was hopeful that the "All Suppressed" configuration was suppressing holes or cuts and that potentially the value you are seeing for Weight was an average of all three configurations but that would not seem to be the case.
In the custom property tab, the weight is whatever the current active configuration is. You cannot pull material property data (well, you CAN using a design table, but it doesn't update well and creates a massive circular update loop) from one configuration to another.

Is there a way to return the value for a specific configuration instead of the active one?
I figured it out: "SW-Material@@[CONFIG]@[FILE NAME].SLDPRT"
