What would be the best way to make a sheet metal part that is: 1) twisted and 2) curved and descending.
I tried with lofted bend, but it doesn't follow my curve and it just ends twisted but straight.
Is there a better way to do this?

Is the blue part modeled as a solid? or a surface?
I would suggest doing it as a surface and then open up a 3D sketch and select the top edge and convert the entities, close the sketch and open another 3D sketch and select the bottom edge and convert the entities, close the sketch. Select both 3D sketches and use the lofted sheet metal feature and make sure the Formed Bend box is checked.
Do you have 2017?
I could take the part that Wayne Schafer uploaded and add the sketches per my response above, you can use a solid and then turn it into a sheet metal part as well
3DSketch2 and 3 are just the top and bottom edges convert entities....
Using surfaces seems to be the correct way to do this, or at least the easiest way I can think of.
I don't usually use surfaces, so it really never crossed my mind.
Now only if I can get this curve as I want it...
Thanks for the answers!
