I am trying to render with a transparent background in visualize but I cannot see any setting for this can anyone help with this?
Remove background image, change background color to white and then save output as PNG
hi thanks, but I tried that an my image still shows the white background when imported into any other program
If you have Photoshop, then you should be able to remove the white background easily. I'm sure there should be other tools also to do the same.
I just wanted to chime in on this one as I've been having fits trying to get good renders with a transparent background. For some marketing and web material, a transparent-background render is absolutely essential and this feature needs to be available in Visualize as it is in PhotoView 360.
Attempting to remove the background with PhotoShop or other tools doesn't really achieve the desired result of having a transparent background with a transparent-feathering on the edges. I'm certainly no PhotoShop expert and I'm sure a more experienced user could achieve the desired results, but this seems like an unnecessary step since PhotoView 360 had the ability to render with a transparent background.
I almost wish I never played with Visualize because now I can't deal with the rendered image quality in PhotoView 360 but I also can't deal with the lack of transparent background in Visualize. Please give us this feature!
His Wes visualize can do transparent background you just need to check the box "include alpha" on the output tools. This is available for formats such as png and tiff. Interestingly a black background often works better. Sometimes you get a little white halo effect of a single pixel otherwise and also doing this allows it to be placed on any colour background
Thanks! That works perfectly!
