SOLIDWORKS World Top Ten Tip [Bookmarks]

    Matthew Lorono

SOLIDWORKS World 2017 Top Ten is roaring along with over 330 ideas submitted since Oct 10 (as of today, Nov 5).  There will likely be a lot more ideas submitted by the deadline on Dec 15, including several API related ideas.  With so many ideas, you may wish to save some so you can come back to them quickly when voting begins on Dec 16.

When you find ideas for which you’d like to vote for the SOLIDWORKS World 2017 Top Ten, keep track of them by creating a Bookmark.  The Bookmark button is in the upper right of each Idea’s page.  This will help you find them later after voting starts; it’ll save you a lot of time, as well as ensure your support for all the changes you’d like to see in SOLIDWORKS products.  You can view your bookmarks by clicking on the Actions tab at the top left and selecting My Bookmarks.

Another way to keep track of an idea is to follow it.  Over the Bookmark button is the Follow button.  When choosing to follow an idea, you can have it show up in your Following menu, receive inbox alerts, or both.  To access an idea that you are following, click on your account button in the top right and select Your Content.  Then click on the Following button on the right to see all of the content.

If you know someone who has an idea or might like an idea, we encourage you to spread the word to get others involved.  This list isn’t just for SOLIDWORKS World attendees – it’s for all subscription users who care about and use SOLIDWORKS products.  Share ideas and the Top Ten List with others by clicking on Share (above the Bookmark button).

      As always, have fun!

Don't forget, you can also share via social media to increase the exposure of your favorite ideas.
