I'm trying to make this do what may not be possible.
The attached part has a bunch of slight bends that are not needed as the part is thin enough to be rolled by hand and it fits inside a smoothly rolled cone, hopefully without gaps.
I want to show the sheet metal shop that the only bends should be those acute bends in the center and the (aprox.) 90 deg bends. The outside trapezoid surfaces should be on one plane so it will lay on the bench pretty much flat except for 4 peaks sticking up.
By flattening and then suppressing bends 32, 34-37, 41-44, 48-51, 55-57, I can get it part way there but to bring those outer surfaces into the same plane I would need to edit the bend angles. All 4 acute angles are 45 deg. The (aprox.) 90 deg. angles need to be 112.5 deg. I just don't know how to do that nor the right question to ask to find out how.
Thanks,
Jerry
Delete your loft and all the sheet metal features and edit both profile sketches by adding a small radius in the sharp corners and then select the Lofted Sheet Metal Feature and select the formed option.
