please help me how can draw ??
There's so many ways. For me this is perfect for equations and patterns
It's a bit rough so might break, but take a look. Other dims are in the sketch3
edit: for speed I just constructed it directly, but you should probably make a sheet metal forming tool
Hi RobThank you so much Rob your answer is nearly correct to my propose because mainly i wnat the volume between two plate taht spot welded thta means fluid for this its important for me the volume between two plate in forming tool that u say i think i cant draw that i want
i have the spot weld diameter and iflation hight betwen two plate for this i want to draw that with different dimesion that i want
this image is a schmatic of that i wanti uploaded a file below of my post please see .thank u so much
Touraj.. Rob got you something.. I went a different way or, I typically would do this with surfacing... and since it's Halloween... had to do a blazing hot exchanger lava looking render ...
speicial thanks to u paul that a wonderfull heat exhcanger u drawi try to use your pattern in drawing to gain my propose i cant but im still trying
If you want to do this in sheetmetal, a forming tool will do the job nicely.

thank you Bjornthats correct but in my propose i want the volume between two plate that means fluid for this i dont know that i can creat that in sheetmetal forming tool
Hi Touraj, fair enough, I didn't realise your main aim was to obtain the volume within. If your task was to create the actual sheetmetal part then a forming tool would be the way to go. If you did want to pursue this direction you could create the sheetmetal part, use the intersect tool to obtain the half volume, then mirror that volume to get the full volume. Bu
that a shape that i trying to be naer my propose but two surface not knite to make correct volumme of between them
Sorry I'm unable to open your file,,, Im on SW15. Could you post some screenshots?
With the model I uploaded I was able to mirror and merge, then I created a surface for the edges and did an intersect.
It took a little time for SW to do the calculations but it worked.
edit: can you work backwards, start from creating the volume you want and then thicken the outer surfaces to get your sheet?
p.s. by a bizarre coincidence I was asked to model some upholstery yesterday.
Some more ideas here
tahnk u very much Rob...sorry for my late in responsing...i see all of your suggestion about craeting th pillow plate and finally could draw it...thank you
..using your model w/ fill surface.. i added a sketch(spot)...
thank you paul but it can not be appropriate for my modeling..sorry for my late in responsing
How's about this - Just using linear pattern
