I have recently upgraded to Solidworks 2017. Now I am unable to create Center of Mass Reference points. The Icon does not appear when I RMB on the Center Of Mass Icon.
Travis, We are not running SW 2017 yet so I can't discount a bug or anything along those lines for you. Possibly it's simply a view issue similar to the help page? Hopefully it's just hidden as stated on item #2 ...
Thanks for your quick response John, I do have my Center of Mass visible, when I right click on the Center of Mass it typically it shows and Icon to create a reference point. This is lacking now.
Did you try this ?
The option is there for me & I'm using 2017..... Just noticed I'm in a part & not an assembly like you are.
I'm not getting it in an assembly either...also the center of mass icon doesn't appear on the model when I roll over it or click it like it does on a part.
Edit: Just found that if I toggle the option "Hide All Types" John Stoltzfus mentioned on & off the center of mass icoon at least appears on the model, even though C of M was already selected to show.
