I have an issue with the Solidworks as I don't know if it lies to me or not.

I have a component which has a jog bend (instead of jog I used 2x edge flange). It is sheet metal part so I can obtain a flat pattern after finishing the model.

However the length of the flat pattern is shorter than it is after forming. Which, following my logic, should be the other way around. Why is this happening?

Moreover using the jog bend feature the results are the same. Am I missing something? I attached some screenshots for reference.

Why flat pattern shows 15.30mm and after forming it is longer and equals 15.37mm ?
