Hi. I am using Solidworks 2016 on Dell XPS 15 laptop with 8GB RAM and 256 GB SSD, i7-7500U processor. I was designing a 2D architecture, and I noticed that the software was unresponsive 2-3 times. Could this problem be due to memory constraints? The 2D design will get more complex. Do you recommend me getting a new Dell XPS 15 with 16GB RAM and 512 GB SSD? Kindly suggest.
