Hello, first time poster and student here. Apologies if this is not the right place for this question. I've got an assignment to create a set of non-standard gears for one of my classes. While learning Solidworks is not purpose of the course, not using it would be severely hampering. What I'm attempting to do is take two shapes that I've mathematically generated and imported from AutoDesk and add gearing to them. I'm not sure how easily this is, or if there are any shortcuts. Any and all advice is appreciated. Attached is a photo of the project so far and the files.

I would like to suggest you use Physical Dynamics to verify your design.
You start to drag one gear, another gear will stop if there is an interference.
