Hi i'm a new user
Well, in my office my boss wants to create a new  working station, but seen that my collegue usually works to other tasks this station will be used only few days for month. In order to optimize the use of the new HW they want to buy a laptop so in the long time nobody work in this station it can be used for outside interventions or meetings. My doubts is if a laptop could be powerful enough fo SW. We designe very big automatic plants (also more than 20m long) with many machines in line and our whole views are very detailed (up to the single bolt).

Our SW supplier is a HW supplier too and they suggest us this configuration:

- Intel Xeon E3-1505M v5 MB

- NVIDIA Quadro M3000M 4GB

- RAM 16GB(8+8) DDR4 2133 SoDIMM

- screen 17" 4k  (but it will be link to a 27" external monitor)

Do you think that it is possible to work with this laptop?
