I have trouble of matching the addin toolbar button image (bitmap not icon) background with SW background
Is there a way doing this?
The transparency key for add-in commands and task pane icon is gray RGB = (192,192,192)
With icon option, the background can be transparent
Can this be done in the program or you have to manually change the background of the bitmap file to 192,192,192 RGB
You can do it in a program as SolidWorks requires the bitmap to be saved in the local drive your program can change the pixels (for example transparent to gray) but in most cases the result may not be very good as the shadows will not be transferred correctly. The best way is to overlay the icon/image with transparent background over the 192,192,192 background. In most cases I use free online image editors and MS Paint.
Thanks for your confirmation as I've been using MS Paint for bitmap editing and I sometimes lazyly thought there might be a quick way
thank you Artem
Just wondering if you're using icon or bitmap for your addin buttons?
