If you have max, save the files to AutoCAD DWG or DXF. Then
open the file, specify that you want to import it into a part as a
3D model or curves. You'll probably hate the result You might do
better to convert the meshes to Nurbs surfaces in Max and then
export them as an IGES file.
And to tell you the complete truth, you probably are better off exporting the meshes as STL's and importing them into SW. At least then you have control over the mesh quality.
Good luck.

1. If you have SW with FeatureWorks:
- Import the files and try Letting FeatureWorks recognize some of the features
2. If setp one did not work for you:
- There is a 3rd party tool that can convert 3d file formats
- TransMagic - http://www.transmagic.com/tran...oftware_3d_models.html
