Apologies, wasn't very clear with my question....
looking to add arrows to point to objects, copyright symbol.
But answered my own question, as i can use alt-symbols using a note, and scale it.
Thanks for the responses, as i now have more options to choose from with all the tips you fine folks showed me.

All windows keyboard shortcut for special character works in solidworks
For the Copyright symbol (©) Hold the Alt key down and type 0169
For the Trademark symbol (TM) Hold the Alt key down and type 0153.
For the Registered symbol (®) Hold the Alt key down and type 0174.
