It is supposed to work thru July 2017. What is wrong?
When did you 1st install it.
The instructor has no idea. I do not think the SEK is limited to one year like the Student Edition.
It is possible that you will see the error ‘This Student Edition has expired’ if the previous version license is still available on the system. To troubleshoot the issue, follow these steps :
1. Open Windows Explorer and go to C:\ProgramData\FLEXnet.
2. Rename the ‘FLEXnet’ folder to something like “FLEXnet_old”.
Note that the ‘ProgramData’ folder is hidden folder. You can either use ‘Folder options’ to show hidden folders, or you can type “c:\ProgramData” directly on to address bar and the press Enter to access this folder. From there you will be able to locate the ‘FLEXnet’ folder.)
3. Try again to activate the license.
Thank you so much! That is exactly what I needed to do fix the problem (same as OP) for me.
