You could try using the select tool. Click on the drop down arrow & you can select hidden & suppressed components from the list, then right click on one in the tree & unsuppress or show. Or you can use the Advanced select at the bottom of the menu & create your own rules to do a variety of things.
The surface imported was hidden....Thanks, it worked!!
In an assembly file select the first item in the feature tree and hold the shift key and the last item in the feature tree and then right click and select show.
