Using "dimension" I don't believe you can achieve what you want. So, I do what you have done in your .jpeg, I use a "note".

Thank you for responding so quickly, I tried what you suggested but this still doesnt produce the desired results, ive included a jpeg to better show what I am talking about. The first arrow is the standard method that SW defaults to (which looks weird) The second method is better but the arrow is still inside the part, the final method was done using the note option. Any ideas on how to get it to drop a dimmension arrow like that?

Hello,
When I create a fillet around the base of a cylinder and then dimension it in a drawing Solidworks only allows me to dimension to the 'circle' that forms the fillet,(if I pull the dimension outside the part the arrow dimensions to an imaginary circle above the fillet) I want my leader arrow to go right to the arc, and it only allows this to happen when the leader comes through my part. Is there a setting to change this? Thank you
