I'd like to connect those parts, but I dont know how ? I can't select spline on surface, any ideas ? I've attached my model.
This is one way to do it. See the example in the attached video.
An assembly *.sldasm must include parts *.sldprt
Without access to any parts - I am going go guess Mate the Origin planes.
I've uploaded all parts.
Simply add 3 coincident mate constraints between each of the origin workplanes.
Could you show me how to do this ? Just an example, because I think that Iam doing something wrong
If you want to make one part from them creat a sub=assembly within your assembly and then save it as a part.
While in your assy CTRL select the components you want from the model or the feature tree and then RMB in the graphics area and select from the drop down menu "Form new sub-assembly here", open the sub-assy and do a save-as a part.
1) you can use coincident for all parts since they all lie on the same top plane
2) and coincident with distance option for the other 2 planes (right and front) - Nice thing about this distance feature is SW is calculating the distance for you. When you select this option, parts will be nailed down as their current positions
Using primary planes for mating also advances you in the future with the issue of missing ref. geometry
