Howdy Folks,
I am trying to put a twist into a plastic solid. I'm about 90% where I want to be. Can you please show the error of my ways? I can't seem to keep my 'thickness' even through out the twist. I'm using the Boundry Boss/Base rather than lofts (because they just work better). But I'm hung at this last 'twist' in my intent.

Make a surface and thicken it.

Both are really good suggestions. However with Rolands thought, we (or at least I) get a result where the ends are no longer parallel to the original planes

Your's is good too, but I need the base length longer than edge of the top of the twist. The sweep with .25 turn is clever, but I can't figure how to reduce the width as it travels up.
I did work it out, but it's a crude hack. I simply adjusted the spline handles on the guide curves to compensate and finally get close enough. But there must be a more accurate and correct way to do this.

Looks like you could do this as a sweep with one helical guide curve. The main guide of the sweep looks like a straight line and the helix would guide the rectangular section around as the sweep progressed.
Feeling charitable. Note the rectangular section is controlled by pierce constraints to te path and guide. Also, the rectangulr section has no horizontal or vertical constraints to prevent it from rotating.
I applied your idea of adding control points to my boundry and it works.
Now I get the full round radius that I needed. Good idea and thanks for the extra help :-).
