PV360 Asking for valid SW License

OK I asked this in the last thread with no reply so I'll start a new thread.

Has anyone form SolidWorks (or anyone else) solved this yet???

The recommendation of my VAR was a total uninstall, clean registry and reinstall.

SAME problem only now I've lost 4 hours!

Muggs,

Since your install, have you tryed re-registering your SWPro license? To do this you go to control panel>Add or Remove Programs>SolidWorks 2009 SPO "change" and run thru the dialogs to "Modify" pick SW pro and then proceed to serial number and then let SW re-register.

Now try PhotoView. Same Problem?

The next thing I would do is

- to remove "PhotoView 360" from your Add or Remove Programs
- remove the folder:C:\Program Files\SolidWorks Corp\PhotoView 360
- do a manual regedit for any occurances of "PhotoView"
- Reinstall using the separate download of PV from the manual install
- re-register SW like mentioned above
- Launch PV 360

Same Problem?

Do you have a SW Office Professional license or an earily SW Office or separate PW license add-in?

  BTW, Help>Show Licenses shows - SolidWorks Office / Never

  Were you on PV 360 Beta. If so did you remove it first before 2009 SP0 Install?
  
  Also, are other Pro Programs like PhotoWorks working correctly?

No, not on Beta. Everything (PhotoWorks) else is as it should be.

I'm also interested in the outcome. My Var checked with SW (HOME) and said it was a programming error.

  Anyone who is entitled to PhotoWorks with SolidWorks 2009 is entitled to PhotoView 360.
  
  This includes legacy customers from when we sold SolidWorks Office (in addition to Pro. and Prem.), and also when add-ins could be purchased individually. Customers who purchased SolidWorks Standard and the PhotoWorks add-in are entitled to PhotoView 360 if they're current with subscription, upgrades, etc.
  
  However, there have been a couple of issues where people entitled to PV360 unable to use it:
  SPR #455149: PV360 installs with SolidWorks Office, but doesn't run and prompts the user with a licensing error.
  SPR #454410: PV360 is not selected for installation with core SolidWorks license and PhotoWorks add-in. It can be selected in the IM add-ins list, but after installation the user will also get a licensing error when they try to use it.
  
  Both issues are resolved in SolidWorks 2009 Service Pack 1.
