I passed the CSWP with an e-mail account from my last employer. I have the paper certifcate still. Is there a way to transfer or link it to my personal e-mail? or will i need to pay and pass again?
Thanks for any help on this,
Log into SolidWorks Virtual Tester.
Contact SW support.
It was actually the "Get Support" on that page that had directed me to the forum to ask questions. I have not been able to find anything in the knowledge base or FAQ's or their help center. I will try giving the 800 number a call if no one else knows anything here.
Aside from trying to remember my old password from my last job (which i would not be able to recover) that worked like a charm.
The guy you need to contact is SW Certification Specialist Avelino Rochino .. I don't have his email with me, but maybe some of the SolidWorks guys can get it for ya...
Here ya go:
Thank you for contact info. Fortunately i was able to get it resolved with the method J. Mather posted.
It seems to me that SW should put this on their support page as an easy link (also in our profiles).
After all, We earn our certifications and We have our profiles - not our companies.
In our profiles, we can change our company names and address easily but not our email address.
These days, most of us will change jobs at least once in our SW career.
Our profile (and certifications) should be linked to US not our company.
We should be able to easily change that email address.
I suspect, that because the license is linked to the company (not us) that is why they make it more difficult, but they could have the "License email fixed and give us the option for a profile/personal email that we could change. (just leave the official license email linked to the company).
