Unfortunately the NVS quadro is not on the approved quadro list. That does not mean that it will not work - just that there are more possibilities for it giving problems. Unless you are going to have a lot of strange geometry and are looking to use realview graphics for displaying your model, it may work ok - no guarantees.
No realview graphics will be used.
The main purpose is that we can make proper drawings. And I think it will perform okay for this purpose.
Bought it this afternoon for 365 euro with 3 months guarantee. Seems like a reasonable price since it has 8gb ram, the i7 processor and a SSD. It's almost as fast as my desktop.
Thank you for your time.
How's about eBay or Dell outlet
They both have decent laptops with reasonable price
I have dell precision M6400 (17") which I paid a lot $$$ 5, 6 yrs ago now it's on eBay for about $200
But more important is to find a laptop with certified card for SW
Thank you for your response.
My desktop will mainly be used for the drawings etc, this laptop is more like a cheap way to make my project portable and adjustable on the spot. The desktops at university always give problems with libraries and the program often blocks due to unknown reasons. Really annoying if you want to work on your project and lose precious time.
