So on one assembly model I have the ability to orientate to various ISO views but do not have the same capability for a different assembly. Any idea why or how I get it back?
Those are custom to the file. If you want them to show up in all FUTURE files, save your templates with the views in them.
Those are custom "New" views that have been created in your model.
These are saved views - are you sure to use the same computer ?
Ryan Sturko, Are the views in the left image custom views? I've not seen that before. Custom views are particular to a file.

Is there a way to view different models from the same angle?
This may be the issue but we use standard templates so not sure how I would have started a new assembly in a different template. Do you know how to see what template you are using on various files?
Also, is it possible to change templates for existing assembly models?
No to changing templates once the file is started.
