EPDM - why does it randomly ask me to check out one particular file?

Hi All,

Getting stuck with this message too often, would like to clear it for good.

I open a final assembly that has 12 subassemblies and 1,121 parts.

The final assembly is already checked out when I open it.  I don't check out any of the parts or subassemblies and don't want to.

Yet while the final assembly is opening, the message pops up "D:\Engineering\Products\Brackets\Bracket A.sldprt is not checked out.  Would you like to check it out?"

No!  Definitely not.

So strange - why does it ask me to check out this one random part?  There are 1,120 other parts, and it doesn't ask to check out any of them.

It stops the assembly file from opening until I click no.

Is anyone else seeing this behavior?  Have any ideas how to stop it?  I have no idea what it is about that one part that would make it ask.

Thanks,

Chris
