When using Collaboration, is it possible to select multiple files in assembly tree and select "Get Write Access" for all of them? It is slow to click on every file and select that. The same question goes for make read-only.
There is a good discussion about t this topic - Please read this
I'm surprised that no one suggested using the "Reload" command. You can find it under the File menu pull down.
Click the button "Show References"
UNCHECK the "Reload" and "Read Only" tick boxes then click on OK. You'll have write-access to everything that is not currently "owned" by someone else or the system.
Reload is useful if you remember to get write access before doing anything, otherwise it reloads (funnily enough) the file to when it was last saved undoing what you've done so far that session. Obviously it not good practice to work on something in read-only, but it happens regularly in my experience.
That's why you uncheck the reload box.
I like it, apologies for not reading your entire comment.
That would definitely be the quickest way to get the job done I can think of.
No problem. Please give it a try.
