Hi,
I like to use the sheet metal option to create directly an dxf for the cutout.
But SolidWorks doesnt always does this properly when i create a dxf directly from the part. It makes for example a sideview of the part and not the flat pattern.
But in the part the flat pattern option works well. Anyone an idea why i creates sometimes a wrong dxf?
Antoher question is it possible to set k-factor to 0.0001(preferable 0) and disable the option auto relief?(as standard sheetmetal option cause i tried to make a template for it but it comes back every time)

Which version and SP of SW are you using. I remember awhile back I had trouble with SW occasionally setting the bend radius to 0 in some of my sheetmetal parts which causes problems when you go to create the flat pattern. I forget whether the problem was SW2006 or early 2008. I haven't seen the problem in SW2008 SP4.
