I've modeled the following deceptively simple sheet metal
part:
However I'm having some trouble dimensioning it. I created the slots as wrapped features but when I try to dimension them in the flattened view in a drawing I'm told something along the lines of "the selected edge can't be converted into a line or circular arc".
I can add the slots to the flattened sheet metal but then I can't use radial dimensions to locate them which is what I want so I can preserve clear design intent.
Is there a decent way to do this? Maybe the wrap feature is the wrong way to go?
edit: I guess I should mention I'm using SW2008
