My problem is that i cannot see the screw thread created by hole wizard in stl file conversion. Fillet also does not show up.
Why does it happen?
The cosmetic threads in the Hole Wizard feature don't actually create threads in the model. That's why they don't show up when saving it as a stl or in Photoview. If you want real threads I'd suggest using the new Thread feature.
I have tried to replicate on my machine and have had no luck.
When you save the STL, before saving choose options and set to fine... tolerance might just be to large
If you could upload the SOLIDWORKS model as well as the STL file i can take a closer look if you would like?
Did you create actual physical threads with the new Thread Feature, or just cosmetic threads?
Need some time. Thank you all for fast response I'll answer as soon as possible!
Thank you again!
I did it with Hole wizard, cosmetic thread. (Solidworks 2016)
Thank you pretty much.I was really blind. I thought I did something really wrong. (especially, yes I did)
Sorry I feel myself fool about it.How can I transform the cosmetic thread into a physical thread?Do I need to create it or is there something better option?
Thank you for your patient.
Here's the created gadget with 4 holes and one Helix.
Heres the 3d builder version STL file output.I did the best quality in STL settings.
And the other thing is that...The holes with threads does not show up in photoview360 also.
So what am I doing wrong?
Thank you for your response!
