design tables vs driveworks

Question asked by Tony Holliday on Sep 1, 2016

I am looking to automate some of my common designs. I have done this at the part level with design tables. I am looking to do something similiar but with assemblies. I may even need to be swapping out parts based on size, like a different handle on a pin based on pin size. I do not know if design tables are the best place or if i should be using designworks xpress. I was using design tables so that i may be able to use the same data outside of solidworks in excel for quoting. Anyone with some advice on this out there?
