Thank you for replying so that we can understand why you were doing this. There are a lot of things in the forum that we all need to learn.
Were you actually deleting the message from your inbox or just the content of it to try to reduce the size?
There should be no reason to delete the messages from your inbox. If it gets old it will just scroll down the list. I probably have a few thousand and never need to do anything with them.
People will sometimes have the same problem and your post could be years old and they can still search and find it - if it is still there with all the information - then they can read it and it may also solve their problem or they may see things they can try to solve a problem or answer their question without having to ask it again. It is also best practice to mark someones answer as the correct answer if one of the answers was correct - this will show people quickly what the solution was to the problem.
Thanks again for responding.
If you've an approved graphics card then switch on the real view mode.
.....And I don't see the images that you attached.....
Show up fine for me. Adding again.
I didn't mean your image Deepak.....I meant the image the Nabil said that he attached. But now I see that he has deleted his description......hrmm....
Oh, you had replied to me so I thought you mean the image I posted.
Well for some reasons he has been deleting all the text/images form his all posts.
Some kind of confidential stuff ...
Nabil makes his posts worthless to anyone else that might have the same or similar question.
But then, his question (or post title) is also nearly worthless.
I wish he wouldn't do that Just a waste of time for us that look at the post after he got the answer he wants.
- Did he even get the question answered the way he wanted?
Is there an "Undo" command somewhere
Perhaps someone from forum Admin could have a chat to him and get him to change his ways before people just start to refuse to answer or start to just ignore his questions. He'll regret it then huh?
He has been on the forum for 2 years so he should understand the way the forum works and the reasons we make posts - but it also looks like he didn't do much posting until very recently.
I saw a few of his posts (all updated by him today within a few minutes) and it looks like he deletes the initial question to each when he gets the answer he wants, then also marks the post as "Assumed Answered" instead of marking the "Correct Answer" - so nobody knows the person or post that gave the "Correct Answer".
On top of that, his questions are non descriptive (at least after he has deleted the body of the question).
I'm going to skip reading all his posts since it is just a wast of my time.
If he changes his method, leaves the questions, Gives credit for the post and person that gives the correct answer and makes it worth spending time to read his posts again so we can get some benefit from them, then I will read and respond to his actual questions (if I can). Until then - I will not bother.
I hope he reads this and understands that I am not trying to be mean or disrespectful to him -
I am trying to get him to be respectful to the rest of us that are here to help and learn from posts that we can understand.
If there is a reason that he feels he can not leave the post for others to read, he could explain that to us.
Nothing you've said there is unfair nor unreasonable Rick. I totally sympathize with your reaction to this. Pretty poor show on his part I must say and a massive lack of common courtesy!
i just wanted to clean my inbox a little bit but what the devil... i got more posts in here
i must be careful in future....
so sorry for being irresponsible and deleting my threads.
Thank you sir for your kind concern, i appreciate that ..i shall take care of that in future.
