Is it possible to convert an assembly in one piece?
if it is possible, how can i do it?
Thanks for your answers.
Save as a SW part (sldprt)
or you can save as a step file or other 3D formats
What is your actual goal?
Do you actually need one homogeneous part, or a multi-body part, or just one file containing all the parts?
Saving as a .sldprt will most likely give you a multi-body part.
If you want is one piece not a multi-body part then solidworks can not do it. the closest is saving it into a part but it will give you a multi body part
save as a SW part, and then open this part and do COMBINE on the part (assuming the bodies have contact between them) that should then give you 1 part which could be saved again as iges/step etc. to get rid of the history
Yes if it is saved as a part then you can combine the individual spaces into one whole.
As Kevin has asked... What are you after when you get the parts together in one part file?
If you just save as and make a part file, you'll get multiple solid (or surface) bodies that you cannot edit as you once could. If you want to be able to edit both bodies (assuming that you started with two) then you need to do something different.
What about inserting on part into the other and then combining? You get all the features that make up the one part plus you get a combine feature that adds both parts together.
