In our business we use a variety of pipe and tube for putting our equipment together with. The trouble I'm running into is we use a lot of 16 and 14 gauge tubing with weld elbows and tees for our piping. We only use schedule pipe for steam runs. Here's the deal; SW doesn't like the idea of me using weld elbows and tees in a tubing scenario.
Whenever I call up 16 or 14 gauge tubing runs it wants to bend the tube rather then put a weld elbow in. Do I need to create bogus elbows and tees and put them in the schedule type elbow and tee database and put the tube into the schedule pipe database?
I've asked my VAR about how to do this and it's not going very far. I can't get into a Routing class because the closest one I can find to me is in Philly and I'm in Madison, WI. My VAR wont have one until there is enough interest, and there is nothing for learning material out there.
Any help would be appreciated.
