I have some old .prt's of some of the graphics that we use, and I would like to take these and make them into decals. Is there a to convert them to use them as decals, or do I have to redraw them and save them as something else?
Run the Final Render and Save Image to a PNG. Then you can use the PNG as a decal.
You can save as a jpeg file and use that as a decal, which you can drag right from File Explorer to the face of the model. If you want a precise position it is easy to add a split line curve in the part and add your picture there...
I would render out your part files as png files using PhotoView. Then you can use those png files as decals.
how do you mean "render out"
Thanks guys for dealing with my newbie questions
