And I agree with it because I have used this feature for over 8 years. I thought it was a default.
At my new job, we use SolidWorks 2011, at this thing doesn’t work!!
Please help me get it fixed.
The numbers separated by arithmetic sign just doesn’t get read. And the modify box does not close (unless cancelled) if there are arithmetic signs in the box.
This could the VBA issue on the machine. Can you check if this is working in Excel or not
Either way reinstall or repair VSTA component vsta_aide (found under prerequisite folder on the installation disc/folder) OR try the solution offered here: sketch dimensions no longer accept simple equations
This could also be related due to a Windows Security Update as stated here Instability in SOLIDWORKS due to conflict with Microsoft KB3072630
