Create a Table to Identify Block Insertion Points and Orientation.

Question asked by Timothy Litvin on Aug 12, 2016

I have a feature in a baseplate part generated by an odd-shaped block that gets repeated at various locations and orientations. I want to create a Table in a drawing to identify the Block Insertion Points, much like a sheet metal Punch Table. However, this Part isn't sheet metal and so doesn't have a "Flat Pattern" (which seems to be required for a Punch Table). I hesitate turning the baseplate into a thick "sheet metal", but that looks like by best option. Is there an easy way to do this parametrically, or is the only other option to create and populate a General Table with manually collected, orphaned data?
