Does anyone have this problem??

When I print an 1.1mb assembly file from eDrawings it takes ages to print, if I look in the print que the size of the file reaches over 90mb?? Also whether or not i check "shaded" the views are always wireframe (with or without shading) so you can see all hidden detail?

anyone got any ideas??

We have the same proble when prinitng AutoCAD files. No problem using eDrawings 2007 though.

  I have the exact same problems Be, seeing as I sit next to you, can some one please help us with this, we are all using SW2008 and have either eDrawings 2008 or 2009 installed.

There is a bug with eDrawings 2009 SP1 and below that causes this. I fought it a week or so before a solidworks api help tech told me about it. It was sending enormous spool file sizes to the printer... one file that would actually print and not crash was 8.8mb if I printed it in solidworks and was 330mb if I printed it in eDrawings.

Upgrade to eDrawings 2009 SP 2.0 and it should fix it.
