Make sure you have set your virtual sharps to display the way you want them.

You can also add a point and make it coincident with two edges etc.. Jeremiah Feist has the right answer

Starting with SW2016 there's an easier way. You don't even need to leave the Smart Dimension command. With the command active, right-click on a model edge and choose "Find Intersection" from the drop-down. Next, left-click on the second edge. That will place the Virtual Sharp point at the intersection of the two edges and select it for a Dimension.
