Why is my Solidworks Explorer window locked?

Question asked by Cameron Cox on Aug 5, 2016

Whenever I open the Solidworks Explorer the window automatically locks to my laptops screen. I am not able to minimize it or close it without right clicking on the icon on the task bar and doing it that way. The close, minimize, and restore down buttons in the top right corner are gone. I would like to drag it onto a different monitor but it's completely set in place, unable to move. There are no file, edit, view, etc. fly downs either, just the search bar, file explorer tab and results tab. I'm stumped, and a little annoyed as this should be something incredibly easy to fix but it is seemingly not. I'm about to resort to reinstalling it. Any pointers are much appreciated before I take that route.

Thanks and sorry if this is not in the correct thread.
